Special Needs: The Caring Bunny
The Caring Bunny is hopping into the Stanford Shopping Center for children with special needs and their families on Sunday, April 1, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The event occurs when the mall is officially closed so that accommodations can be made to support the sensory, physical and other developmental needs of all attending. Families will have activities to participate in as well as the opportunity to take pictures with the bunny.
Sale: St. Raymond School Rummage Sale
St. Raymond School’s rummage sale is this Saturday, March 31, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 1, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be raffle prizes and special discounts starting Sunday at 2 p.m. St. Raymond School, 1211 Arbor Road, Menlo Park.

Movie: ’2012 — Time for Change’
An optimistic alternative to apocalyptic doom and gloom written and directed by Emmy Award nominee Joao Amorim, the film follows journalist Daniel Pinchbeck, who is trying to discover a new paradigm that integrates the archaic wisdom of tribal cultures and the scientific method. Meeting: ‘Lock It or Lose It’
Topics of the Palo Alto Police Department discussion tomorrow, March 28, will include factual information about the burglary trend (including a breakdown of statistics on where, when and how the burglaries are occurring) and the many recent arrests, a list of the department’s actions taken thus far to combat the crime trend, information about what constitutes suspicious activity and how to report that activity to the police, and burglary prevention tips.
